Rita "Marcy" Woodcock, 69, rejoined her husband when she passed away June 15 in Cheyenne.
She was born Aug. 22, 1938, to Augustine Montoya and Estella Gonzales in Santa Fe, N.M., and resided in Cheyenne nearly all of her life. Marcy was well known for her fighting spirit, and fought the odds by surviving a massive stroke that left her mostly paralyzed more than 18 years ago.
