CHEYENNE (WTE) - Cheyenne East has claimed its first football state championship in 33 years, and its players started hauling in individual accolades Thursday.

The Thunderbirds - who finished 9-2 and took the title by beating Evanston 24-14 last Saturday - landed 10 players on the all-state first-team. East had another five players honored as second- teamers.
