Mrs. Vogel was born Nov. 6, 1927, in Billings, Mont., to George and Paula Lunday. She graduated from Billings Senior High School and attended classes at Montana State College in Bozeman, Mont. Mrs. Vogel's experiences included moving to Oakland, Calif., with a girlfriend when she was a young woman and later meeting her future husband, John H.
